The Weekly Raid: Can You Play MMORPGs On Console?
With the announcement that TERA may be ported to consoles in the undetermined future I'm curious what everyone thinks about playing MMORPGs on their consoles. I can't motivate myself to pick up a controller and slaughter wolves to finish a quest. It feels too foreign after years of playing MMORPGs on PC.
I did try to play Final Fantasy XIV with a controller but it just didn't feel as fluid as keyboard and mouse. And I found myself unable to keep up with fellow raiders. Consoles have always felt strange to me when it comes to MMORPGs like I'm participating in some cult that was supposed to be forgotten, but I know there are some players more than happy to play with controller in hand.
The library of MMORPGs on console is expected to grow as free-to-play is accepted as a console business practice. But will MMOs.com and viewers also be playing on console?
