The fifth week of the NA LCS has finished!

In the fifth week of the NA LCS, TSM and Immortals solidify themselves as the two world contending teams in NA with perfect weeks against solid opponents. Phoenix1 got their first win and Liquid was able to enter into contention for the top three with a solid week against Cloud9 and Team Envy.

Week 6 Preview
Next week both TSM and Immortals will be challenged by Cloud9 and Liquid. After a tough two losses Cloud9 will be looking to bounce back with a win.

Unlike the NA LCS, the EU LCS uses best of twos which leads to a point system. A 2-0 win gives 3 points. A tie gives 1 point per team. A loss gives no points.

In the fifth week of play, G2 Esports was able to take the first spot again after Fnatic's week of two losses against G2 and Giants. The recommended series to watch are Fnatic vs G2 and G2 vs Origen.

The series to watch will be FC Schalke 04 vs Splyce. Given they are tied for fourth place, this match is important to how the upcoming playoffs will shape up.

Week 7 Preview
Next week is a full week with six days of matches. Some must see matches will be SKT vs ROX on Thursday and SKT vs KT on Friday.
There were no games in China this week due to the Demacia Cup. The Tournament involves sixteen teams divided into four groups. Twelve of these teams are from the LPL and four of them are from the LSPL (China's lower league). RNG is against EDG in the Semifnals and Snake will play IMAY in the other side of the bracket.

ELEAGUE, organized by Turner Sports and WME/IMG, is a new premier CS:GO tournament that features an outstanding $1,200,00 prize pool. The tournament will be broadcast on TBS, running from May 24th to July 30th, and is geared towards a broad audience.
In Group F's Round Robin, Team EnVyUs came out on top with a 5-1 score with Virtus.pro behind them at 4-2. In the Group Playoffs, Team EnVyUs swept both compLexity Gaming and Virtus.pro 2-0 to qualify for the main playoffs and end up as the second highest ranked team in the entire tournament. For placing second, Virtus.pro now will play in the Last Chance Bracket to play for two open spots in the final playoffs.

With a $1,000,000 USD prize pool, sixteen teams will be competing in this Premier tournament that involves a group stage and a single elimination playoff. Going from July 5-10, the top teams of the world will be competing for this lucrative prize.

The International is the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year and its qualifiers have finished. The format is divided into two phases. Phase one features a round robin with all the teams in the group. Each team plays against the other teams of their region in a best of one series. The winner of the group secures a spot in the main tournament and the second to fifth place teams advance to phase two. Phase two features a double elimination bracket of these four teams from phase one. These are best of threes and the winner of the bracket secures a spot in the main tournament. The runner up goes to The International 2016 Wild Card tournament in Seattle to play other third place teams for the final two slots at the Main Event.
Here are the main results of the qualifiers for each region:
Americas Qualifier: Evil Geniuses tied with compLexity Gaming and eventually won the tiebreaker to win the ticket to the main tournament. compLexity Gaming, Digital Chaos, Void Boys, and FDL played in the playoffs for a chance to go to Phase two. Digital Chaos was able to win against compLexity 3-2 to get a chance to qualify for the main tournament.
Chinese Qualifier: Wings Gaming is the first seed and Invictus Gaming, Vici Gaming Reborn, EHOME.cn, and iG Vitality played in the playoffs where Vici Gaming Reborn was able to beat EHOME.cn in both the Winners' Finals and Grand Finals to go to the Wild Card tournament.
European Qualifier: With a three-way tie for first place, Team Secret came out on top against Escape Gaming and Fantastic Five. As a result the remaining seeds of Escape Gaming, Fantastic Five, Ad Finem, and Alliance played in the playoffs where Alliance was able to win the ticket to Seattle.
Southeast Asian Qualifier: SEA had a three-way tie as well with TNC Gaming, Fnatic, and Execration. TNC came out on top with Fnatic, Excration, WarriorsGaming.Unity, and White Fries Gaming behind them. In the playoffs, Fnatic nearly swept the competition winning the Grand Finals and advanced to the Wild Card tournament in Seattle.
Beat Gaming has started on June 27th with the top eight teams competing for $7,500 USD in their inaugural tournament. The format involves a Group Stage and a double elimination playoff.
In the group stage, Team EnVyUs swept their group 2-0 with Northern Gaming Red behind them at 2-1. In Group B, Cloud9 also swept their group 2-0 with Gale Force eSports behind them at 2-1.
