The first week of the EU LCS Summer Split has started! Unlike the NA LCS, the EU LCS uses best of twos which leads to a point system. A 2-0 win gives 3 points. A tie gives 1 point per team. A loss gives no points.

ELEAGUE Season 1

ELEAGUE, organized by Turner Sports and WME/IMG, is a new premier CS:GO tournament that features an outstanding $1,200,00 prize pool. The tournament will be broadcast on TBS, running from May 24th to July 30th, and is geared towards a broad audience.

Unlike the three previous groups, Group D's Round Robin ended with a tie between Fnatic and FaZe Clan with a 5-1 record. However, Fnatic ended with the first seed by having a better match record. Team Dignitas only won two games and TSM lost every single game in the Round Robin. In the Group Playoffs, Fnatic was able to beat TSM in the Semifinals and FaZe Clan in the Finals to qualify for the playoffs. FaZe Clan qualified for the Last Chance Bracket to fight for two spots in the final playoffs.

DreamHack Summer 2016

DreamHack Summer 2016 has started featuring eight teams playing for a $100,000 prize pool.

The Group Stage has finished with Astralis and Immortals coming out on top over SK Gaming and ENCE eSports in Group A. In Group B, GODSENT and Ninjas in Pyjamas came out over Epsilon Esports and HellRaisers.

The semifinals are between Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas and GODSENT vs Immortals.

ESL One Frankfurt 2016 involved eight different teams that played for a total prize pool of $313,746.

With the momentum gained from the Manila Major, OG swept their group and won their semifinal match against Team Liquid to meet Natus Vincere in the Grand Finals. While it was a best-of-five, OG swept Na'Vi and won ESL One Frankfurt 2016 in three games. In the entire tournament, OG only lost one game to Team Liquid. With this win, OG is in a great place as they head to The International.

GosuGamers Overwatch Weekly #13

GosuGamers organizes a weekly tournament for both North America and Europe called the GosuGamers Overwatch Weekly NA/EU. The prize pool is a modest $500 plus a crowdfunded amount (about $700) to spread among the top two teams. The format is a single elimination bracket of best of threes with a best of five final. With 32 different teams, these weekly tournaments give GosuGamers the data to put together their Overwatch ranking list.

In the EU tournament, Graviton Surge beat out REUNITED in the finals 3-1 to win this week's tournament.

In the NA tournament, Luminosity swept the tournament not losing a single game as they beat Sodipop in the finals.

Operation Breakout

Operation Breakout is a Overwatch tournament that is taking place from June 11-26. With $15,000 on the line, the top teams of the world (Cloud9 and Team EnVyUs) will be going head to head.

In Group A, Cloud9 leads with a perfect 4-0 record. Luminosity trails close behind at 3-1.

Group B began this week with Team EnVyUs sweeping their games being the clear first in their group. Gale Force eSports was able to take second despite tied with REUNITED because they won their head-to-head.

The Playoffs take place this week in a double elimination format.
