The Spring Split's regular season is done and the league is taking a break. The NA LCS has the quarterfinals for the playoffs this upcoming weekend.

Playoffs Preview
Here's what the schedule looks like:

After the Quarterfinals, the Promotion Tournament will take place. The tournament features the three lowest NA LCS teams (Renegades, Team Impulse, and Team Dignitas) and the two highest challenger teams (Team Dragon Knights and Apex) as they fight for three LCS spots. The tournament is from April 6-8 and wil give an opportunity for exciting new teams to join the league.

EU LCS Recap and Standings

Like the NA LCS, the EU LCS had no regular season games with the end of the Spring Split. Unlike the NA LCS, the EU LCS Promotion Tournament already took place with Splyce, ROCCAT, and Giants beating the Copenhagen Wolves and Huma to secure their LCS spots.

SKT, Afreeca Freecs, and Samsung Galaxy all have a big week while Jin Air, CJ ENTUS, and Longzhu falter. Afreeca Freecs continue a strong run towards the playoffs. Their match against Jin Air Green Wings and CJ ENTUS' match against KT Rolster have the potential to make a major shift in the standings.

Only two weeks remain of the regular season. The series to watch in week 12 is going to be ROX Tigers vs KT Rolster, Jin Air Green Wings vs Afreeca Freecs, and SKT vs Sam Sung Galaxy. These teams need to secure these wins in order to have a place in the upcoming playoffs.

LGD won both of their games this week. It's not an April Fools' joke and one of the wins was against Group A's first seed Qiao Gu Reapers.

ESL Pro League Season 3 Week 5

In the fifth week of the ESL Pro League teams played a total of 48 total matches for both EU and NA regions.

Here are the week 6 results for EU:

After week 6, these are the standings:

In the anticipated match between Astralis vs NiP, NiP was victorious in both Mirage and Cache allowing them to take the first seed in the EU Division. In NA, the tiebreaker between OpTic and Selfless ended with Selfless taking both Inferno and Mirage in two close games.

For week 7, the games do not start until April 6th for both regions.

MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016

The MLG Major Championship: Columbus takes place from March 29th to April 3rd in Columbus, Ohio. The tournament has the biggest prize pool in CS:GO history of $1,000,000 with sixteen of the best teams in the world. The group stage is already on its way until the playoffs on April 1st.

DreamLeague Season 5 League Play

Eight invited teams are competing online in a best-of-two round robin. Each game won award the team $1,000, totaling $56,000 for the League Play. So far, Vega Squadron has won all of their games making them the current first seed.
