Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 "Virtual Revenge" Now Live with New Gameplay and Missions

HoYoverse has released Version 1.3 of their urban fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero, today. Titled "Virtual Revenge," the update features new gameplay modes, special missions with characters from Section 6, and introduces additional areas within the game's setting of New Eridu.

New Gameplay Modes:

• "The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault" – A roguelike challenge with five chapters, each generating random environments and resources.
• "Simulated Battle Trial" – A battle tower where players face increasingly formidable enemies to test combat skills.

Special Missions and Celebrations:

• Collaboration with Tsukishiro Yanagi from Section 6 to tackle Hollow disasters.
• Join Lighter from the Sons of Calydon in the Settlement Days celebrations at the Outer Ring.

New and Enhanced Characters:

• Yanagi, Deputy Chief of Section 6, an S-level Electric - Anomaly Agent with abilities to increase disorder damage and trigger extra Polarity Disorder.
• Lighter, known as "The Champion," a Fire - Stun Agent who can stun enemies and enhance his combat abilities as his morale increases.
• Introduction of two new A-level characters: Bangboo Baddieboo and Knightboo.

Expanded Game Areas:

• Players can now explore HAND Headquarters, H.S.O.S. 6 Office, and Sān-Z STUDIO at Lumina Square.

Game Optimizations:

• Updates to the Compendium's functions and interface.
• Improved systems for character leveling and upgrades.

Personalization and Decor:

• New items available for purchase from Sān-Z STUDIO to decorate the 2nd floor of Random Play.

Upcoming Events:

• "Virtual Battlefield Mayhem" and "When Sandwiches Come A Knockin'" events promise new challenges and in-game rewards.
