HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero Starts Closed Beta Testing Next Month
We don’t usually feature single player games on this site, but this one might be of particular interest to Genshin Impact players or fans of anime games in general. HoYoverse, the studio behind the popular multi-platform MMORPG, has announced the closed beta start date for Zenless Zone Zero, an urban fantasy RPG featuring the same gameplay mechanics and visuals as Genshin Impact.
Players take on the role of Proxies as they hunt down dimensional portals called Hollows and eliminate the Ethereals that come out of them. These Ethereals have wiped out most of humanity and survivors have come together to form a last bastion against the inter-dimensional invaders in the sprawling city of New Eridu. As players progress through the game, they’ll be able to recruit new characters to their party and combine their abilities to create combos and increase their damage.
The closed beta, a.k.a. the Tuning Test, is set to begin on August 4th at 7 p.m. PDT and will be available on both PC and iOS devices. Players looking to get in can sign up on the game’s official site until July 27th at 8:59 a.m. PDT. You’ll need to login using your HoYoverse account and fill out a quick survey for a chance to get an invite.
