World Of Warcraft: Legion's Leveling Experience Will Be A Bit Different

In a developer preview that went out yesterday, Blizzard explains how leveling will work in World of Warcraft: Legion's Broken Isles. Unlike previous expansions, which were made for a specific level set, players don't have to worry about their level in comparison to the zone's while in the Broken Isles. As the preview puts it, "whether you’re level 101 or 108, the quests, enemies, and drops in each of those four zones dynamically scale to your level, giving you the freedom to explore this mysterious new domain as you see fit."

The trade off is that each zone has items that can only be obtained in that zone. The examples given are that you can only obtain the Mystical Frosh Hat toy and Count Scribe battle pet in Azsuna, while the Rocfeather Skyhorn Kite toy and Baby Elderhorn pet can only be obtained in Highmountain.

What you can earn from every zone in the Broken Isles, however, is Artifact Power. The incentive of maximizing the amount of Artifact Power you earn even makes it so that completing a zone in its entirety may seem worth it.

With dynamic difficulty scaling, Blizzard ensures that "more than ever, your destiny is in your own hands." Where do you think you will start your Legion experience?
