World of Warcraft Players Can ‘Freeze’ A Trading Post Item To Purchase Later

It’s nearly been a month since World of Warcraft’s new Trading Post officially opened for business which means that it will soon be swapping out its wares for a new set of cosmetic items. If there’s one specific item that you’ve been dying to get but haven’t been able to do so, there’s apparently an option to save it for purchase in the future.

According to Blizzard, you’ll be able to freeze one item so it doesn’t get removed when the new set of monthly cosmetics arrives. This should give you more time to save up for the frozen item which will remain in the Trading Post until you decide to either buy it or replace it with another item. The feature is also helpful when shooting for one of the more expensive items from the cosmetic shop.

The Celestial Steed, for example, costs 900 Trader’s Tender but you’ll only be able to earn a maximum of 1,000 Trader’s Tender at any given month. Since any unused currency will get rolled over to the next month, you can simply freeze the mount if you’re low on currency and wait for the next month’s stipend and quest rewards.

A new set of cosmetics will be making their way to the Trading Post on March 1st. In the meantime, you can check out the current list of cosmetics along with their respective prices in this dev blog.
