World Of Warcraft Shadowlands Alpha Build Now Supports Gamepads
Over the past few years, Blizzard Entertainment has been introducing features to World of Warcraft to make the classic fantasy MMORPG more accessible to all types of gamers. Today’s Shadowlands Alpha update introduces another accessibility feature that will allow players to ditch their keyboard and use a controller instead with the addition of gamepad support. In case you’re wondering, that doesn’t mean that we’ll be seeing WoW on consoles anytime soon, but it’s the next best thing.
To enable gamepad support, simply type “/console GamePadID 1” in the chat box. Again, the feature is only available in the Shadowlands Alpha build and will probably roll out for the rest of the game when the expansion launches this year.
Check out actual footage of the game being played using a gamepad below, courtesy of WoW player Stiven.
Oh boy, oh boy, gamepad support 😀 I just need some time to get used to it. Overall satisfied. Maybe I will stream leveling trough zones using gamepad :p pic.twitter.com/Upn7c3p26X
