In a mix up last night, World of Warcraft: Legion's tentative release date was revealed. An image with pre-order details and a September 21st, 2016 release date. "Expected game release on or before September 21st, 2016" to be exact. The exact date of release could still vary and the phrasing leaves plenty of room for it. Regardless, we should have World of Warcraft's sixth expansion in our hands by September 21st, 2016.

As is standard with World of Warcraft expansions, buying Legion will give you the ability to boost to the previous expansion's level cap. Pre-ordering will earn you "at least 7 days" of early access to the new Demon Hunter class. There is a Digital Deluxe Edition that comes with an extra mount, pet, and items for Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm, and StarCraft 2.

More details have yet to be announced, but they are sure to be on the way as BlizzCon begins today.
