World Of Warcraft Is Bringing Back The Mage Tower Permanently Later This Month

Due to insistent public demand, the World of Warcraft dev team has announced their plans to bring back the Mage Tower permanently later this month. The limited-time instance was originally released as part of the Legion expansion and was recently brought back as part of the Legion Timewalking Bonus Event.
“When first introduced in Legion, the Mage Tower challenged players to conquer unique solo class-specific encounters. Now the Tower is open once again, bringing back the excitement with all-new rewards to obtain, and a chance to prove your tenacity. Are you a master of your class? It's time to put your knowledge and skill to the test once more!”
“Having heard feedback and seen how it has played out, we agree that a personal skill challenge being available only for a short window of time every few months isn't in the spirit of these types of events,” explained Blizzard. “As such, starting on the week of March 29, the Mage Tower will be accessible at any time, no longer tied to the Legion Timewalking Bonus Event.”
The Mage Tower offers players seven different challenges grouped according to various specializations and roles. Rewards are given out upon completing each challenge with the exclusive “A Tour of Towers” achievement and the Soaring Spelltome mount up for grabs to those who successfully complete all seven. Note that Legendary item bonuses and expansion-specific abilities, like Covenant Skills, will not be available within the encounters.
