World Of Warcraft Drops Fury Incarnate And Its New Dreamsurge Public Event

The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight saga continues as the Fury Incarnate update goes live in the retail version of the classic MMORPG. The update also introduces the new Dreamsurge public event, new heritage armor sets, and Heroic difficulty for the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon.
“Defend the land against the Primal Incarnates as they rally forces to claim the power of the World Tree, face the onslaught brought on by the Druids of the Flame in a new public event—Dreamsurges,” Blizzard announced. “Honor the legacy of the undead and night elves with the new Forsaken and Night Elf Heritage Armor sets, band together to battle the Infinites to preserve Azeroth’s timeline in Heroic Dawn of the Infinite, and more.”
“And more” includes the new ping system which lets players send contextual pings to quickly call out commands like Attack, Warning, or On My Way without the need to use voice or text chat. A real-time chat moderation system has also been added in addition to other gameplay improvements such as more customization options for the three core races.
The update also sets the stage for the upcoming Eastern Kingdoms Cup dragon racing event which will run from October 4th through October 17th. You can dive into the details in the full patch notes which can be found on the World of Warcraft official site.
