Blizzard Entertainment is hoping to lure players back to World of Warcraft with a “welcome back gift” for inactive accounts. The gift package will be given out alongside the launch of the Fractured in Time update and will contain a collection of items that will prove invaluable to those who decide to return to Azeroth, including spec-appropriate gear, a free teleport to either Orgrimmar or Stormwind, and a conveniently cleaned quest log for a truly fresh start.

After claiming the pack, returning players will be sent to Chromie who’ll guide them to their next adventure and hopefully get them ready to tackle the new endgame content coming with the update.

On the subject of Fractured in Time, Blizzard has outlined major changes coming to the Druid class as part of the update which will include the addition of a new talent called Rising Light, Falling Night. The Augmentation Evoker will also receive tweaks, and various adjustments are being made to the Mage and Paladin classes to enhance gameplay balance.

The user interface will also be getting an update in the form of a handy “sell all junk” button and an archaeology bar in addition to full-color micro menu icons to brighten up their look.

In the meantime, the Fractured in Time update is still up for testing on the PTR for those who want to take it out for a spin.
