World Of Warcraft Will Get Dragon Races When Dragonflight Comes Out

One of the new features coming to World of Warcraft when Dragonflight comes out later this year is the ability to soar above the skies atop your very own fully-customizable dragon mount. Apparently, you’ll also be able to participate in Dragonriding Races all across the Dragon Isles, as Wowhead reports in their latest feature preview.
While it would have definitely been more fun if you could race against other players, the so-called Dragonriding Races are technically time trials that will have you completing various courses by passing through all checkpoints in the fastest time possible. These courses are scattered all across the Dragon Isles and can be entered by talking to a Bronze Timekeeper to start the race.
Successfully completing races will reward you with six new achievements for each basic course and three additional ones for advanced courses. You’ll also be able to unlock the Dragon Racing Completionist achievements for completing all races found in the Dragon Isles. There are currently no additional rewards in the ongoing Alpha test, aside from achievements and the bragging rights that come with them. Although, we can probably expect more rewards to be added in the future.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is expected to launch sometime in December 2022.
