World Of Warcraft’s Darkmoon Faire Returns With A Dance Dance Revolution Mini-Game

World of Warcraft players have something new to look forward to as the Darkmoon Faire once again sets up shop on Darkmoon Island. The carnival-style event runs the for the entire year but is only available for one week starting on the first Sunday of each month.
This year’s Faire comes with the usual assortment of quests, bosses, mini-games and attractions along with a new addition that’s sure to send 90s kids on a trip down memory lane – the Darkmoon Dance Competition.
“Keep the beat and show us your stylish moves in a Darkmoon dance-off! Tighten the laces on your best dance shoes because this challenging attraction will get your body grooving to the beat.”
The new attraction pits players against a rival NPC dancer in an epic dance-off styled after the Dance Dance Revolution of yore. The NPC will run through a series of dance moves that players will then need to copy before the time runs out. Nine new achievements are up for grabs for the best dancers, as well as a Dance Dance Darkmoon toy that summons a dance stage wherever you are in Azeroth or in the Shadowlands.
Other attractions include an arcade, a roller coaster, a petting zoo, two concerts, and various carnival-style mini-games such as Test Your Strength and Whack-a-Gnoll. These mini-games reward players with Darkmoon Prize Tickets that they can turn in for various transmog items, mounts, pets, and toys, including the Darkmoon Dirigible airship mount which costs a whopping 1,000 Prize Tickets.
“The Darkmoon Faire celebrates the wondrous, exotic, and mysterious from around Azeroth! This mist-shrouded island is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma, accessible for one week only at the beginning of each month. Come closer for a tantalizing glimpse of what Faire founder, Silas Darkmoon, brings for all to see!”
