World of Tanks Hits 413,399 Peak Concurrent Players After Big 2.0 Update

The previously reported 2.0 update for World of Tanks went live earlier this month and with it came a surge of active players. The game reported hitting 413,399 peak concurrent users shortly after the update. The game's steam playerbase hit an all time high of 24,172 after the 2.0 update.
"This incredible milestone was only possible thanks to our community." said Michael Broek, World of Tanks Publishing Director West. "We are grateful to every commander who joined the battlefield for Update 2.0. Your dedication and excitement continue to inspire us to make World of Tanks better with every update."
Major 2.0 Update Changes:

- Vehicle rebalance: More than 350 tanks across all tiers have had stats adjusted to tighten roles and improve matchup fairness.

- Audio upgrade: Newly recorded engine, cannon, and environment sounds add extra weight to battlefield feedback.
- Login rewards: Veterans receive one full Tier VI–X branch plus currency and premium time, while new accounts get two branches and additional premiums; collectors with every tank unlocked receive exclusive cosmetics.
