Wildstar's Homecoming Update is Now Live, brings Community Showdown Event

Make sure you get your expensive dresses and sharp suits, because homecoming is here, and Wildstar is aiming to take home the title of Homecoming Queen.

That was a bad joke. I'm sorry, everyone.

But the Homecoming update is indeed here! Teased not too long ago, the Homecoming update brings with it Communities, Residential Renovations, new Prime Content, and Madame Fay's Fortunes.

Most interesting of all, however, is probably the new contest - Community Showdown. Dubbed "the preeminent competition for seasoned architects, landscapers, and interior designers," the Community Showdown is a chance for the aforementioned people to create a community of five conjoined Housing plots and make them beautiful. And with what's on the line, they need to be so beautiful that Jhin from League of Legends will be impressed with the screenshots.

There's a lot riding here - the grand prize winner will receive $2,500 split amongst all team members of the winning team.
