WildStar Digs Deep into Customization

The latest news post from WildStar focuses greatly on customization for characters. This mostly means pets, pets, and more pets. There are now 54 companion pets for players to bring them out into the vast wilderness. Obtainable through shiphands, dungeons, and even from vendors, these pets will be players' friends on their epic journeys. There are an unlimited number of pets a player can have, but only one can be summoned at a time. As these pets are purely cosmetic, no one should hope that the companions will jump into action nor will they provide any stat boosts.

In addition, the new Holo-Wardrobe system offers much more customization options. According to the WildStar team, these changes are all thanks to the players.

"Both companion pets and the Holo-Wardrobe were created as a direct result to player feedback and requests. We’re always listening, and we heard loud and clear when you asked for pets and more flexibility when it came to player costumes. We had a great time creating these new systems, and can’t wait to hear how you like them once you’ve tried them out."
