War Of Dragnorox Rebrands As Eternal Tombs Following A Major Change In Its Combat System

Indie MMORPG War of Dragnorox has undergone a significant transformation and has been rebranded as Eternal Tombs alongside a complete overhaul of its combat system.
War of Dragnorox was initially planned as a dynamic warfare MMORPG where gameplay will be shaped by real-life dungeon masters. The game promised slower-paced tab-targeting combat reminiscent of classic MMORPG’s, but it ended up being too slow for the developers’ tastes, as they revealed on Discord.
“War of Dragnorox started out as a tab targeted based game that featured slow moving combat, very similar to games of the past. As we continued in our development, we discovered that without having that nostalgic feeling of a game we've played for 20+ years, the combat was just incredibly arduous and boring,” admitted developer Triune Studios.
To address this issue, Triune decided to completely revamp the game’s combat system to make it more unique and exciting. According to the developers, this fundamental shift in the game’s development and direction necessitated a name change to set it apart from the original version, hence, it’s now known as Eternal Tombs.
To mark the change, Triune Studios has dropped a new teaser trailer that shows the revamped combat system in action. You can check that out below.
