Eternal Tombs Confirms Its First Closed Beta Test For April 2 And Regular Playtests After

Eternal Tombs, otherwise known as that MMORPG with live dungeon masters, is kicking off its first closed beta test on April 2. The playtest will mainly focus on the starting experience and will give testers a chance to explore the game’s starting zones: Southmir, Woodland Commons, and Tradeport. Along the way, they’ll get to experience combat against multiple enemy types, plumb through dark caves and crypts, and complete quests that will get them up to around level 10.
The testing pool will be made up of fans selected from those who requested access through the Eternal Tombs Steam page. Developer Triune Studios says that they’ll be inviting plenty of streamers to give the rest of the community an early look at what the game has to offer and promises regular playtests every 2-3 weeks with new content to test out.
The closed beta test won’t be starting for another week or so, but in the meantime you can take a crash course in the upcoming hardcore MMORPG’s crafting system in the new developer video below. Also, for those wondering about how a live dungeon master will work in practice, Helldivers 2 is basically doing the same thing with help from the now-infamous Joel.
