Vindictus Revamps Evie The Spellcaster

Action MMO based on the Mabinogi Universe, Vindictus, has revamped their popular spellcaster— Evie. She's been given a full overhaul with new abilities and mechanics for her different weapons.

Staff wielders will find a new mechanic called focus— which allows her to charge up her arcane power while moving. This empowers her spells which allows her to maintain her DPS in the event she needs to re-position. She also received a new ability called Rage Conductor which allows her to channel an arcane ray of destruction over 5 seconds to decimate any enemies in her path. After all... who doesn't enjoy a mega death laser from time to time?

Scythe wielders have received major improvements to Life Drain and Sacrifice. Life Drain is now applied to all smashes and ones performed during a combo grant even stronger drain effects. This is the best way for her to stay in top health despite going into melee range. Sacrifice has been changed from an active to a passive which will trigger her Spirit Wisp as she releases her debuff which gives her a power boost.

The Scythe also received new abilities such as Horrific Scream— which gives her a new 3-hit combo for a smash hit that replenishes 80 stamina. Her much more flashy new ability, Arcane Gate, allows her to phase in and out of reality and become untargetable. This lets her hop in and out of reality with smash attacks, turning her into a powerhouse trickster.
