Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Has Officially Launched On PC And PlayStation 5

When the sun is away, the vampires come out to play, or fight with each other as is the case in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt. After over five years in development, the free-to-play battle royale has officially launched on PC, via Steam, and PlayStation 5 with cross-play support between both platforms.
“Bloodhunt is a thrilling free-to-play battle royale game set in Prague consumed by a ruthless war between vampire clans. Use your supernatural powers, weapons, and wit to hunt your rivals and dominate the night!”
The official launch build comes with a new nine-barrel weapon, several balance changes to clan abilities and weapons, and a 44-tier battle pass that comes in free and paid versions.
The premium pass will set you back roughly $10 (950 Tokens) and will come loaded with a total of 85 cosmetic rewards, from classy suits to athletic streetwear, and 1,300 Tokens which you can use to purchase the next battle pass season or use to buy additional cosmetics. If you’d rather not spend money on the game, you can unlock 22 cosmetic rewards through the free track along with 300 Tokens.
Launch day looks like it went down without any major problems, although there are a few known issues that developer Sharkmob is currently working to address. These include game freezes on PC and weapons not doing damage when the reload animation is interrupted. Workarounds and band-aid solutions have been implemented in the meantime.
Despite the issues, the game has received “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam with just over 15,000 players online as of this writing.
Sharkmob shared the trailer that they created in 2017 to serve as an overall guide on the style and tone of the game. You’ll find that right down below.
