Vampire Survival Game V Rising Confirms Second Major Update And Full Launch On May 8

V Rising is finally rising from the confines of early access and into full release on May 8, in line with its Q2 2024 launch window. Version 1.0 will mark the multiplayer vampire survival game’s second major update and will come just a few days shy of its second anniversary on May 17.

That’s quite a wait for an update, but last year’s Secrets of Gloomrot expansion didn’t disappoint and it looks like Version 1.0 won’t be doing so either. Developer Stunlock Studios’ latest dev blog reveals just some of what players can expect from the update, including a revamped spell book with spell points categorized by school and tier, new abilities that can be obtained through the Altar of Stygian Awakening, and a new tool that will allow players to relocate their towering gothic castles.
