Thunder Tier One Is A New Top-Down Tactical Shooter From Krafton, Now Available On Steam

Krafton has just launched a new tactical top-down military shooter on Steam titled Thunder Tier One. Players take charge of an elite special operations team on a series of missions to stop a terrorist network from sowing fear and chaos in the fictional Eastern European country of Salobia.

The game features story-driven campaign composed of nine missions that can be played solo with AI teammates or with other players in 4-player co-op. Online PvP is also available for those who want to pit their tactical skills against each other. Player can also choose from five additional game modes: Exfil, Advance & Secure, Domination, and Deathmatch.

“Exfil is a 4v4 mode where the attacking team is tasked with exfiltrating a package within a time limit while the defending team must prevent them from doing so using any means possible. In Advance & Secure - which is also a 4v4 mode - teams go head-to-head to fight for a number of sectors and claim victory. Domination is a PVE experience where up to four players race against the clock to take control of a series of checkpoints, disarm explosives, and defend against counter-attacks. Finally, Deathmatch is the classic free-for-all with up to eight participants.”

Players will also be able to fully-customize their outfits and gear with various accessories and skins. Mod support will also be added in the future which will allow players to create their own maps, characters, missions, weapons, game modes, and more.
