Throne and Liberty Begins Closed Beta Testing In South Korea
There’s a whole host of games set to launch this year that we’ve been keeping tabs on, one of which is NCSoft’s Throne and Liberty. The former Lineage spinoff, which has now been turned into an original IP, is set to launch globally this fall, assuming that there’s no further delays in its development.
The good news is that the Korean version seems to be on the right track as NCSoft officially kicks off closed beta testing in the country.
For those who are just hearing about the game, Throne and Liberty was originally announced as a new Lineage game but was later rebranded as an original IP, following several major design and gameplay changes. The game is being billed as a free-to-play MMORPG set in the vast, fantasy world of Solisium. It promises dynamic open-world environments, massive PvPvE battles, and the ability to transform into various creatures to battle across the land, air, and sea.
