The Day Before Refunds Are Currently In Process, Fntastic Says ‘Shit Happens’

The depressing tale of The Day Before continues as developer Fntastic gets buried in refund requests following the studio’s closure yesterday. The negative reviews are also piling up on Steam, calling the game a scam and making jokes along the lines of the game launching The Day Before and closing The Day After.
I know it’s in bad taste, but I admittedly found it kind of funny, considering that Fntastic fought hard to reclaim the title from a calendar app. The studio is also being criticized on X for releasing a half-baked game, with one commenter calling them “an absolute disgrace to the video game industry”, which Fntastic responded to with: “This was our first big experience. Shit happens.”
Meanwhile, Fntastic and the game’s publisher, Mytona, are still processing refund requests and assures players that they’ll be giving all of their money back regardless of how long they’ve played the game. Do note that the game is still playable for those who purchased it and the servers will remain online indefinitely for those who haven’t given up on the controversial zombie shooter just yet.
Unbelievable that you guys hyped this game up so much and this is the end result. You guys are an absolute disgrace to the Video Game Industry.
