Tarisland Brought In WoW Composer Russell Brower To Work On Its Musical Score

Tencent may still be insisting that Tarisland isn’t a World of Warcraft clone but there’s no denying that its developers have taken several pages from the popular fantasy MMORPG. In fact, it’s just signed on WoW composer Russell Brower to create the musical score for the upcoming game.
The three-time Emmy Award winner talks up his work on Tarisland’s music, saying that he’s composed distinct musical scores for each of the game’s regions which also ties in with the overall fantasy theme. “I’m writing themes for each of these zones. I want them to all feel like they’re coming from the same world, in this case, Tarisland.”
Aside from World of Warcraft, Brower also worked on several other Blizzard titles before he left the studio in 2017, including Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and Hearthstone. He’s featured in Tarisland’s new trailer below.
