Tarisland Shows Off The Paladin And Its Specializations In Its First Class Preview Trailer
Tencent is offering Tarisland fans another look at each of the upcoming MMORPG’s playable classes, this time in video form, starting with the mighty Paladin.
We were first introduced to the divine warrior of justice back in November as part of a series of blog posts that offered in-depth information on the background lore of each class and their respective skills and specializations. We’ll now get to see those skills in action with the official preview trailer for the stalwart class.
“Under the sanguine sky, the ancestors chant their last prayers in the temple. All of a sudden, the light shining through the remains of the courtyard grows dazzling, and a deep voice rings in the head of every warrior: Enter the light to embrace divinity; wield the light to purge evil spirits.”
Tarisland’s version of the holy knight offers players a choice between two specializations: Justice and Guard. The Justice spec focuses on dealing maximum DPS and crowd control, while Guard grants increased defense and HP regen for tanking, both of which are explained in the new trailer.
It’s worth noting that only a male Paladin is shown in the video, although Tencent is apparently working on a female version in response to western players’ dislike for gender-locked classes. Don’t expect every class to have male and female versions at launch though. You can check out the new trailer right down below.
