Starborne: Frontiers will no longer be a full-fledged MMORPG as initially announced but will now be a squad-based RPG according to developer Solid Cloud’s latest update. Instead of a persistent world, the upcoming Starborne spinoff will feature a 10-chapter campaign that players can take on as a team. Squads will also be able to fight it out with each other in faction-based PvP battles.

Starborne: Frontiers was first announced in June 2021 and is slated to launch on mobile devices and on PC sometime in mid-2022.
