Star Wars The Old Republic ‘Legacy Of The Sith’ Has Been Delayed To February 2022

BioWare has thrown a wrench in the Sith’s plans to rise back to power in Star Wars The Old Republic. Out of the blue, the studio announced that they will be pushing back the Legacy of the Sith expansion’s release by two months. The new release date is now February 15, 2022.
“Legacy of the Sith is something the team has been hard at work on for quite a while but as we get ever closer to launch, it is clear that we need a bit more time,” said Project Director Keith Kanneg. “We’re focusing additional testing on the many areas we have changed throughout the game to deliver the experience we want, and one that you deserve.”
The silver lining is that players will get to take the expansion out for a spin again on the PTS this week. The new story quests will purposely be left out of testing to avoid spoilers but most of the expansion’s contents should be available again for playtesting.
Legacy of the Sith was originally scheduled to launch on just a few days from now on December 14th, just in time for SWTOR’s 10th anniversary on December 20th. More information can be found on the Star Wars The Old Republic official site.
