Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights Of The Fallen Empire Early Access Launches

Today marks the beginning of Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire's Early Access phase. Current subscribers have access to the expansion now, a week before the official launch on the 27th. The major bullet points of this expansion are a new story with choices that matter, personal class stories, the ability to build a team of allies, the release of new chapters "on a regular basis," and the option to start at level 60 as The Outlander. Eleven chapters have been unveiled with at least five more planned.

The official patch notes for the expansion and Game Update 4.0 were posted today with the launch of Early Access. The level cap has been raised to 65. A new tutorial with a new story has replaced the old one. A new leveling experience for the level 1-60 level bracket has been introduced. All four primary stats—Strength, Willpower, Cunning, and Aim—have been replaced with one new one, Mastery. There have been quite a lot of changes and veteran players would probably do well to skim through them.
