Sci-fi MMO Star Citizen Officially Unveils Its New Mirai Fury Scramble Fighter

Last week marked the official debut of Star Citizen’s newest ship manufacturer: Mirai, the performance brand of the sci-fi MMO’s industrial-oriented shipbuilder, MISC. In Cloud Imperium Games’ latest developer video, the studio unveiled one of the manufacturers creations in the form of the Mirai Fury, which looks a lot like Star Wars’ TIE interceptor.

Picture a compact seat with a roaring engine and an array of forward-facing weapons. Equipped with Xi'an-style thrusters, this little devil boasts remarkable agility and blinding speed. Just don't expect it to have its own warp drive. The Fury comes in two flavors: a ballistic weapon variant and a missile-loaded option for those seeking to take on bigger prey.
