Lion Games Hands Over SoulWorker Publishing Responsibilities To Valofe

SoulWorker just got itself a new publisher as developer Lion Games hands off publishing responsibilities to Valofe for “continued enhancement and maintenance,” after self-publishing the anime title for nearly three years. The keyword here is “maintenance.”
Valofe, of course, is known for picking up dying MMORPGs, which we can safely is the case for SoulWorker. The anime-styled action MMORPG logged a peak player concurrency of just two players today a trend that’s persisted since the start of 2023.
In any case, all account information will be transferred over to Valofe with a promise that Lion Games will be addressing any concerns that arise during the transition period as it admits that “preparations for this transition may appear insufficient.” Lion Games has yet to reveal a timeline for when they expect the transition to be completed but says that it will be sharing more information as soon as possible.
Between now and then, Lion Games hopes to keep what remains of its playerbase busy with a series of in-game events, the first of which kicked off yesterday, offering bonus rewards for each subsequent completion of collateral damage raids.
Valofe also relaunched Kritika Online on VFUN earlier today as Kritika Zero. The latest iteration of the anime MMORPG was also supposed to launch on Steam but was pulled at the last minute to make it exclusively to Valofe’s platform.
