Valofe Pulls Kritika Zero From Steam Ahead Of Today’s Launch In Favor Of Its VFUN Platform

In a surprising turn of events, Kritika Zero will no longer be launching on Steam as previously announced. For some reason or other, Valofe decided at the last minute to forego the undeniably bigger platform in favor of launching exclusively on its own VFUN website and launcher.

“In our commitment to delivering the best gaming experience, we’ve decided to explore new avenues and provide players with even more options to dive into the world of Kritika Zero,” the studio announced. “Our team has been working tirelessly to bring you a seamless and immersive experience, and we’re excited to announce that the game will be officially available on VFUN platform only starting January 25th, 2024.”

It seems to me that the move will offer fewer options for players, but I’m not a game developer so what do I know? Regardless, Kritika Zero is set to launch today, just three hours after this news piece goes live.

The game’s launch will fill the void left behind Kritika Global following its closure yesterday, and will mark the fourth iteration of the 2017 anime MMORPG Kritika Online.
