Kritika Global has officially shut down with Kritika Zero poised to fill the void when Valofe’s latest iteration of the anime action MMO launches tomorrow.

“While we have strived to deliver an exceptional hyper-action RPG experience through our official Steam channeling service, it has been concluded that continuous operations are no longer sustainable due to challenges with maintaining servers and addressing issues such as irregular payment activities,” the global version’s publisher ALLM announced.

Kritika Global launched back in June 2022 as an NFT-laded version of 2017’s Kritika Online, it’s third reboot at the time. It also launched on Steam minus NFTs in order to conform to Valve’s strict no-blockchain policy. Unfortunately, it didn’t fare much better than its NFT counterpart largely due to its extremely predatory cash shop.

Kritika Zero is set to replace the sunsetted title as Kritika’s fourth reboot and will be launching on Steam and VFUN on January 24. It will feature 11 playable characters and will launch without a fatigue system, an increase to the maximum number of guild members, and the ability to skip MVP animations without the need to be an active subscriber.
