Endnight Games Announces Sons Of The Forest Full Version Launch In February 2024

Survival horror game Sons of the Forest will be moving out of early access and making the leap to full release on February 22nd, just two days before it celebrates its 1st anniversary. The full release version will include updated story content as well as several new quality-of-life improvements and gameplay adjustments based on feedback gathered during its year-long stint in early access.

Developer Endnight games also announced that Canadian actor Shawn Ashmore has joined the team as their new voice actor. Ashmore is best known for his portrayal of Bobby Drake and his alter-ego Iceman in the X-Men film series by Fox. He’ll be lending his voice to Timmy, the son of Eric LeBlanc from the original The Forest game. The studio has confirmed that he’ll be playing a bigger role in the game and its ongoing narrative with Version 1.0’s release, hence the new voice actor.

Sons of the Forest is available on Steam with a $29.99 price tag and has received “Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on the platform.
