Skyforge's Invasions Are Being Overhauled In Ascension

When Skyforge's Ascension update lands, it will be bringing with it an Invasion overhaul, the details of which were announced on the official website last Friday. Invasions will take place over an eight week long "season" and will no longer overlap. Players will be given the chance to earn an avatar trophy, which will unlock a Divine Specialization. Additionally, during an Invasion, the maximum equipment level is "limited," whereas better equipment can be earned by fighting monsters in various adventures.
The requirement to take part in Distortions will change from joining a Pantheon and constructing a certain building to simply obtaining your Divine Form. Distortions are unlocked in waves; the first season of Distortions will be unlocked from the get-go, the second season around two weeks after the Invasion begins, and so on. The exact dates will be readily accessible on the Distortion Portal's interface.
As they have in the past, Great God Avatars will have two forms: "Training and Champion." The Training incarnation is a "a simplified version of the Avatar" that players can take on from the moment they receive their Divine Form. The reward for defeating it is "a unique mode of transport." The Champion incarnation is designed for groups of 10 and requires players to have "the right equipment and bonuses," including upgrading their strongholds. Those who are able to take down the Champion incarnation will be awarded an Avatar Trophy.
As mentioned above, Invasions will limit the level of the best equipment you can obtain in-game. The maximum equipment level available in-game will be set at the beginning of the invasion and will increase with the arrival of each army. By doing this, Allods Team and My.com hope that players will no longer fall so far behind the current "leaders" that they can never catch up. Instead, anyone who takes part in the Invasion from day one and "actively develops their character and unlocks army bonuses without delays" will have a chance at obtaining the best equipment in-game at that time.
