Skyforge Celebrates 6th Birthday With The Annual Aelion Day Event
Skyforge is celebrating its 6th birthday this week with the return of the annual Aelion Day celebratory event. During the event, features the usual round of activities with the addition of a new mechanic and several new item rewards, including a new mount, a new banner, new masks, and stylish new costumes.
“Aelion Day is upon us, Immortals! Six whole years of playing, battling, evolving, and getting that sweet sweet loot. We appreciate the time and dedication you’ve spent on our game, and if you’re a newer player, buckle up—your journey is just beginning!”
“You must be used to rescuing mortals by now, but this time it’s a little different,” said My.games. “During the celebrations, they say that each mortal rescued increases your chances of receiving a prophecy—an item that contains a mysterious message. Decipher the message and fulfill the conditions it sets, and you will receive Threads of Destiny, which can be exchanged for goods in the Market.”
Prophecies come in three difficulty levels: normal, great, and special. Players can have up to three active prophecies at a time which they can sell to acquire new prophecies if they prove to be too difficult to complete.
“The more normal prophecies you fulfill, the more likely you are to get a great prophecy,” explained the devs. “Special prophecies are quite rare and give better rewards, and you’ll get one of these each day the event is active as a login bonus!”
Anniversary costumes and a portrait decoration can also be earned by completing various challenges throughout the duration of the event.
The event is now live on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while Switch players will get to join in on April 13. Head over to the Skyforge official site for more info.
