Skyforge Standalone Battle Royale Mode Goes Live Today

skyforge battle royale release artBattle Royale has taken the video game industry by storm and Allods Team and My.com are jumping into the bandwagon. Their sci-fi MMORPG Skyforge has just gotten a standalone Battle Royale mode as of today and you don’t even need to have a Skyforge character to get in on the player-killing action. Simply launch the game and select the new game mode. Just remember to watch your back.

You are no longer gods. Ordinary mortals enter a computer simulation to test themselves and win the favor of gods. They are about to face their most dangerous enemies: other people who want the same. One map, 40 players, 12 heroes, and only one winner. Battle Royale in Skyforge.”

Skyforge’s Battle Royale mode follows the same mechanics as other Battle Royale games: gear up and be the last player standing. Players can choose from 3 out of 12 pre-made heroes, each with their own unique skills. Participating players earn Skyforge credits (if they have a Skyforge character) and Battle Royale currency which they can use to rent, and eventually, unlock new heroes in future matches.
