See More Of World Of Warcraft With Extended Draw Distance

The World of Warcraft: Legion expansion brings with it a ton of updates not the least of which is the massive overhaul to the Talent tree. Aside from major gameplay changes, Blizzard is also working on improving the game’s overall graphics quality, including a visual update that will extend the game’s draw distance. Which, as you can see from the screenshot below, dramatically improves how far players can see in the game.

The visual update, according to Blizzard, “will make it possible players to see more of the world than before. This new perspective on World of Warcraft won’t be limited to the Broken Isles. Players who return to the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor will also be able to see distant terrain and buildings from farther away than previously possible.”
Another graphics-related update that will be implemented with the expansion is the number of selectable graphics options. Blizzard will be replacing the current Low to Ultra graphics settings with a 1-10 scale. The old Low setting equates to about a 3 in the new scale, while the old High lands at around 7 which, Blizzard writes, “gives us even more room around the minimum spec and the recommended spec to either ease burdens on low end hardware or push titanic configurations.”
