RuneScape Mobile Gives Away A Free ‘Bullsmith’ Outfit For Its 1st Birthday
Fancy dressing up as a fierce cow smith in RuneScape? Well, whether or not you’re into that kind of thing, you’ll still be able claim the outfit for free as part of the RuneScape Mobile 1st anniversary gift pack. The pack contains a limited-time 50% XP boost, five Treasure Hunter lootbox keys, and a free Bullsmith Outfit.
Meanwhile, the developers look back at the mobile port’s launch and how it helped bring long-time RuneScape players back to Gielinor. “[RuneScape Mobile has] been a great way for a lot of people to reconnect with the game,” Product Director Matt Casey told MCV UK. “[RuneScape is] a game that people tend to sort of drop in and out of, but it’s always kind of there. Part of the reason y’know, for bringing it to mobile in the first place was to allow us to reconnect with that, kind of lapsed audience and so far — a year in and it’s been really helpful during that time in bringing people back to the game, just because it’s a more convenient sort of format.”
“It rekindles the sort of, you know, the old feelings from you that you had before, but in a more pocket-sized way,” he added.
