Red Dead Redemption 2 And Red Dead Online Will Come Riding In To PC On November 5
Finally, here’s some news that we’ve all been dying to hear! After nearly a year of being console-exclusive, Red Dead Redemption 2 and its MMO counter-part Red Dead Online are finally making their way to PC on November 5th.
“The first game in the Red Dead Redemption series to be featured on the PC platform, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC features a range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion along with new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC also includes free access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online featuring all previously released improvements and the latest content updates for the complete online experience including Frontier Pursuits and the specialist Roles of Bounty Hunter, Trader and Collector for players to progress through and earn unique rewards.”
The game will be available for pre-purchase on the Rockstar Game launcher starting at 8am PT on October 9th. Pre-purchasing the game through Rockstar will come with special bonuses which include two free classic Rockstar PC games, a free Premium Edition upgrade, and a $20 discount on the Special and Ultimate Editions. Rockstar pre-purchases will also come with an Outlaw Survival Kit, a War Horse, a Treasure Map, and a Cash Bonus for Story Mode along with 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be available for pre-order through the Epic Games Store, the Humble Store, Greenman Gaming, GameStop, and other digital retailers starting October 23rd. Pre-orders through these channels will come with free 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. The game will also be available on Steam starting December.
