Ravendawn Online Concluded Its ‘Lagbane Challenge’ Stress Test Over The Weekend

Tavernlight Games held a massive stress test for Ravendawn Online over the weekend to ensure that the servers can cope with the surge of players on launch day. The aptly-named “Lagbane Challenge” stress test ran for roughly two hours and rewarded players who played for at least an hour with the exclusive “Lagbane” title.
To push the server to its limits, only one channel was available for players to join for the duration of the test. This helped identify potential bottlenecks, areas for improvement, and other issues that will need to be addressed before game’s launch. When that’s happening, however, has yet to be announced.
Ravendawn Online was initially scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year but was later moved to the third quarter. With Q3 2023 about to end, there’s still no word on when the game will be moving from open beta to full release, although the stress test might indicate that it won’t be long now.
In the meantime, all channels are now back online as open beta testing continues for the upcoming top-down fantasy MMORPG. You can download the open beta client here.
