Electronic Arts has shared more details about Project Rene, a.k.a. The Sims 5, in their latest “Behind the Sims” developer stream. As you probably already know, the next game in the iconic life simulator won’t be an MMO, but it will have co-op features that will allow players to collaborate with each other via cross-platform play.

During the stream, the dev team highlighted Project Rene’s improvements over the previous games in the series, including better lighting, neighborhood designs, animations, Sims schedules, scene navigation, and a ton of new customization options.

Although the showcased content was early in development, the neighborhood shots displayed significant graphical upgrades, surpassing that of The Sims 4 by miles. While no multiplayer information was revealed, this update provided fans with a glimpse of what's to come.

It’s also worth noting that the game is still years away from release, so information might be a bit scarce for the foreseeable future. Rest assured that we’ll keep a close eye out for any new developments.
