Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Outlines Roadmap For The First Half Of 2023

SEGA has shared a rundown of the shiny new things coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis for the first half of 2023 in its latest NGS Headline episode.
At the top of the year, players can look forward to the New Year and winter events, a new region, and various tweaks to the Geometric Labyrinth to make it a bit easier to clear. The devs will also be introducing several quality-of-life updates, including more clear-cut stat information and improved customization.
Late January will see changes to server blocks that will allow it to automatically adjust the number of blocks in operation in response to server congestion and population changes. According to the devs, the said changes should make it easier for players to find random encounters out in the game world.
Players can also expect new quests and a new boss fight in February, the start of the spring event in March, the sci-fi fantasy MMORPG’s 2nd anniversary event and a new class in April and May, and the self-described “ultra evolution update” in June which will introduce customized player housing, increase the level cap to 75, and add new class skills to match the new level cap.
