Online Shooter Crucible Will Be Launching Next Month Says Amazon Game Studios
When Amazon Game Studios started operations in 2016, the studio revealed their plans to develop three games: Breakaway, Crucible, and New World. Breakaway was shut down in April 2018 while Crucible seemed to have taken a back seat in favor of New World, which is currently on track for release in May. Apparently, the upcoming online shooter will also be launching next month according to a recent article on Game Rant.
Crucible is a 13-player game where 12 players fight it out battle royale-style, while the 13th player, called the Game Master, runs interference via Twitch integration.
“Each match in Crucible is a fight for survival and control. Not only will you be going toe-to-toe with your fellow competitors, but you’ll have to adapt and overcome all the challenges the planet itself throws your way.
You and your teammates will need to work together to take down alien creatures, capture objectives, and pursue your opponents in search of victory.”
