Old School RuneScape Reveals Development Roadmap For First Half Of 2022

Jagex has a lot of things in store for Old School RuneScape and its recently-released mobile version for the first half of 2022. The developers’ latest roadmap shows multiple teams simultaneously working on new systems and content that’s slated for release in the coming months.
Following the new mobile client’s open beta release earlier this week, players can expect to see the Guardians of the Rift runecrafting mini-game arrive on March 23rd alongside the new Temple of the Eye region. The devs are also planning to test out the new PvP Arena rewards later this month, followed by the launch of the Beneath the Cursed Sands questline in April which will feature a new region, new enemies, and a revamp of the world map.
A new skilling update will also be launching sometime in May. The Tombs of Amascut raid, changes to the new player experience, and the wilderness boss rework are also expected to launch by June at the earliest.
You’ll find the updated roadmap right after the jump. You can also head over to the Old School RuneScape official site for more info.
