Nightingale Shows Off Structure Styles, Biomes, Monsters, And Weird Walking Trees

Inflexion Games has yet to lock in a release date for Nightingale but they’re more than happy to show off some of the fantastical sights in the Victorian-era shared world fantasy game. In their August developer blog, the team offers viewers a quick look at several points-of-interest, weird-looking trees, and player housing.
The meat of the blog, however, seems to be focused on the different styles of houses, fortresses, and structures that players will be able to build, from lofty swamp towers and sprawling estates, to desert huts and forest shacks, as well as the biomes they’re built on.
Inflexion also provided insight into the randomization system that they use to generate mobs and NPCs, ensuring that no two creatures look exactly alike. Unfortunately, a definite launch date is still up in the air, but if everything goes according to plan we should expect the game to come out sometime this fall.
We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear any news, hopefully sooner rather than later. In the meantime, you can check out some excellent examples of what you’ll be able to build in-game on the Nightingale official site.
