NCSOFT Opens New Mobile Studio, Lionship Studio, In Japan

It seems that NCSOFT is looking to bolster its mobile portfolio. MMOCulture is reporting that the company has established a new mobile game development studio in Japan called Lionship Studio. It is headed up by Yojiro Ogawa, who is known for working on titles like Sonic Adventure and Phantasy Star Online at SEGA.

The news follows last year's news that a mobile game development studio called Iron Tiger was being established in San Mateo, California.
