NCSoft West Reveals Mobile Division, Iron Tiger Studios

NCSoft West announced today that they would be opening a new mobile division called Iron Tiger Studios in San Mateo, California. The studio will be developing "original mobile titles" in addition to "titles inspired by NCSoft's existing game portfolio." It will consist of three game development teams and a separate publishing group, all self-contained within the company. They are currently hiring and expect to bring on over 100 new employees in total by this time next year.

The "senior vice president of Mobile at NCSoft West," Jesse Taylor, had this to say about the reveal: “NCSOFT West is accelerating and the launch of Iron Tiger is a key step in enabling us to develop extraordinary and innovative games more rapidly and across more platforms."
